Who is Mike Rendel?

I like my wife, and I like my cats. I like to work, I like to relax. I love chicken bowls and BAWLS energy drink. My car is hands-down the dirtiest car at MediaSauce. I am the best looking person in the office. I used to be really good at yo-yo tricks in middle school. I prefer a t-shirt and jeans. I'd consider wearing a toga if that were more socially acceptable. I have problems with the "mainstream." I get paid to be creative, and I do whatever it takes to make sure I make the most of this opportunity. I work hard, and have fun doing it, most of the time. I am a true believer in the MediaSauce "thing." I was born and raised by good people in Southern Indiana, and have been living here in Indianapolis for several years now. I'm one of the few MediaSaucers who didn't graduate from college. Interestingly, I think that plays into my ability to have an outside prospective on things. I work from my heart. People say I'm a real go-getter. What they overlook is that I am a habitual procrastinator, an far-too often overzealous quick-start and a complete control freak when it comes to my projects. It works for me though, and I think it works from my clients. I usually have to be told to stop working.

    My unique ability is making the most out of what I've got to work with. People always tell me I get to work on the best projects, but I say I make every project I get the best it can be.

    I had a pencil jammed into my knee in middle school. There is still a little piece of lead in there. I'll show you if you ask.
